The Greater Richmond Chamber Foundation provides local businesses and individuals a tax-deductible resource for promoting economic development, education, leadership and regional cooperation programs.
The Greater Richmond Chamber Foundation is an independent, but closely aligned, charitable affiliate of the Greater Richmond Chamber. Led by a 24-member volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation's charge is to improve the local business environment through the enhancement of the quality of life, the development of human resources and the improvement of economic stability.
Founded in 1980, the Foundation accomplishes most of its mission through grants to community organizations and Chamber programs as well as providing fiscal agency services.

Mission
To enhance Greater Richmond's business environment and quality of life by facilitating tax deductible contributions and other resources to support economic development, regional cooperation, education and leadership development.

Goal
To respond to business and community needs by assisting charitable organizations and other service providers in obtaining fiscal services and needed funding.

Services Provided
Grants | The Foundation provides grants to organizations needing financial support to either start a new program or enhance an existing program. Preference is given to initiatives that address the Greater Richmond business community and start-up projects requiring only seed money.
Fiscal Agency | The Foundation serves as fiscal agent for certain programs, receiving and disbursing funds deposited within a designated account. Services can include billing, accounting, investment and banking assistance as well as other financial services.
The Greater Richmond Chamber Foundation welcomes both designated and undesignated contributions from businesses and individuals. If you wish to make an undesignated contribution, the Foundation will distribute your gift to current or new programs.
