A message from CBC chair, Mary Ellin Arch:

Do you live, work or do business in Chesterfield County?  If so, we invite you to be a part of the Chesterfield Business Council.

The Chesterfield Business Council is an active group of civic-minded individuals all working together to advocate for business interests in the county. Elected and appointed county government and school officials routinely attend our meetings and provide status reports and project updates. Our council leadership meets regularly with key county officials to keep business concerns at the forefront of decision-making at all levels of county government.

Our meetings also are a forum for business networking – a place to make connections and build relationships. If you’re looking for customer leads, new ideas, a solution to a business problem, or professional development opportunities, you can find it at one of our many CBC program offerings.

Additionally, nominations are sought each spring for seats on our leadership body, the CBC Cabinet. If you want to deepen your involvement in the Chesterfield business community and grow as a business leader, I urge you to contact me or our Chamber liaison, Danna Geisler, for more information about serving on the CBC Cabinet.

I also want to hear from members about how CBC can serve you better. Please seek me out at any CBC function with your ideas, comments and feedback. Your opinion matters!

The Chesterfield Business Council is an advocacy arm of the Chamber that works to support the Chesterfield County business community by:

•Connecting business leaders through various networking and education events

•Identifying and addressing key issues of interest to the City’s business community

•Serving as a liaison to local governments, as well as keeping businesses informed on news and resources

•Providing member engagement opportunities through the Chesterfield Business Council committees
